Lewis Toyota of Hays was a joy to work with from the beginning. An Internet email to them and within an hour, was talking with a salesman. A few days later, I drove off the lot with my dream car! Everyone was nice, funny, quick...just all around good people. Highly recommend.
We were on a road trip to our cousins wedding when the check engine light came on. Being a thousand miles from home we were naturally stressed. We called Lewis Toyota of Hayes and the person on the phone told us that while they wouldn't be able to fix anything on a Saturday, they could plug it in and diagnose it so we could know how serious it was and decide if it was safe to keep driving another 400 miles. We drove an hour to get to them and arrived over an hour before they closed for the day. Once we arrived the people there refused to even look at the truck. In my past experience at my mechanic at home the initial computer diagnosis takes 5 minutes tops. Very disappointed in the poor service and miscommunication here. Unfortunately we did not get the name of the man we spoke to on the phone, as we take people at their word and it didn't occur to us to doubt his assurance that we could get a diagnosis.
The crew at Lewis Toyota of Hays are professional, friendly, and authentic. They made leasing my new Rav-4 a seamless and plesent experience. The team did a great job with my customer experience, and I will likely be working with them again.
Stopped in because my headlight had burned out, as the local Hays police stopped me twice in the space of 5 minutes last night to inform me. Everyone there was super friendly and helpful and got me in and out in about 20 minutes. Seems like a good place, clean and welcoming visitor area and spacious, well-appointed garage.
