Makes history come to life

This is a great place to stop and stretch your legs on the long drive across Kansas. It will surely bore kids to death but adults who like history will enjoy it.

Good history about Kansas forts. Well preserved site.

We got a tour of the officers' housing from a knowledgeable & friendly guide. The rest of the buildings are self-guided tours. Very few of the buildings are still there. Not a whole lot to see.

Knowledgeable staff! Guided tours available. Great special events too! Had a historical time!
