Best sushi restaurant in town. Quick service and food service. Very large selection of sushi, and offers very good hibachi bento boxes if sushi isn’t your thing. Great lunch specials that are very affordable. Appetizers are a tad pricey for the portions but all so far have been good. I suggest the sushi pizza, don’t let the name sway you it’s amazing. Wait staff is attentive. Overall I would say one of the best restaurants in Hays.
If I'm ever in this part of Kansas again I'll definitely have Osaki on my itinerary.
I do OTR truck driving and this place had some of the best red snapper sashimi I've ever had outside of Miami, totally caught me off guard.
I had a teriyaki beeftip bento dinner, 1 spicy tuna roll, 1 order of red snapper, and a Sapporo all for less than $30... Yes please!
I have really enjoyed Osaki the few times I have been there!! The servers have always been really nice & helpful.
The beef negimaki was hot a appetizer, straight from the kitchen, and quite filling too. They have a great sake menu with an adequate beer selection, as well as a very nice and hospitable staff to add to the clean atmosphere; Erin was a wonderful hostess and server. Bottom line: No need to be wary of sushi in Hays, KS. You gotta try it!
We have stopped here several times on our way through. It's a Sushi Oasis in KANSAS. Consistently extremely fresh fish and beautiful presentation. Good service too and an easy jump off and back on I70.
The Tempora was pretty good especially the sweet potato but I didn't personally care for the onion ring, it just didn't match the palette in my opinion. The rice was well done and the dumplings were surprisingly delightful too.
