I have a sling bladder surgery with Dr k McDonald great Dr, very professional smart caring and kind.all nurses at the time nice keep checking with me pretty often.help me with my pain.cna nice all time.very compassionate people.

This place is ABSOLUTELY TERRIBLE. If I could give the ER negative stars, I would. When I was 7 weeks pregnant, I went into the ER because I was experiencing a ton of abdominal pain. I was hunched over crying in pain and it took them almost an hour and a half to even see me. THEN they ended up diagnosing me with abdominal pain and released me. Abdominal pain? Seriously? That's a symptom, not a diagnosis. I ended up losing my baby 2 days later. These people are extremely lazy and it seems as if they could careless about you. Don't ever go here. I honestly would recommend driving further to another emergency room. You may be driving further, but I guarantee that you'd still be seen quicker than if you would've went to HaysMed ER.

Stay away. 1/10. Go to Salina, Wichita or KC. I'm very surprised how Kansas University associated themselves with these guys. My experience and knowledge of this place are bad. They had a worker infected with hepatitis C working for them in anesthesia few years ago. He was a drug addict and used to inject himself with narcotics and then inject the rest of the drug in patients. Several patients got infected. I know several people who had bad experiences at this place. Another thing, they have a very high physician turn-over rate, probably the highest in the state of Kansas. Very few physicians stay long time at this place which is indicative of internal problems that make doctors unhappy and stressed out.

Amazing staff! I got in a car accident while being 6 months pregnant.i broke both my legs. The staff was quick to treat the pain and check on my unborn son. they treated my husband and other 3 children with kindness and the best care. After surgery they were compassionate and determined to help me get around.

I was admitted to this hospital when I had a massive heart attack. They saved my life. I am very grateful for the nurses and doctors from here. I would recommend this hospital to everyone
